Jenny Cusick the Chamber's Executive Officer has been in touch by phone with most of our Members.
All were appreciative of the Chamber's concern.
General comments were that the Government Grants had helped and most said they would make it through.
A common theme was that we all need to adopt a "BUY LOCAL" attitude and this applies in particular to Central Coast Council when letting contracts.

The Chamber continues to support a University Campus in Gosford, preferably on the old Mitre10 site.
We are in continuing talks with the State Government to see this through.
This Campus forms part of the Education and Employment Precinct that the Premier proposed just prior to the 2019 State Election.
We are now in discussion with the Hunter Central Coast Development Corporation which has been tasked with moving the project forward.

Parking issues in Gosford CBD continue to be of concern for the Chamber.
The Chamber was instrumental in getting Central Coast Council to provide parking at Adcock Park and in Showground Road near the Tennis Courts serviced by a Shuttle Bus. We are concerned that this facility has not been supported to the extent that it would to take pressure off short term parking in the CBD.

Last week Greg Walker (Macarthur Projects) joined us as the Guest speaker at the June members Zoom meeting giving an overview of The Archibald development within the Gosford CBD
